I'm gonna play on easy because I'd like to finish the game this year, and I'm gonna play a mage. or maybe it's just limited because mana crystals are limited, not sure. also, you can't recruit units infinitely, 'shops' run out of them eventually (and there's a huge amount of backtracking to resupply them, which doesn't sound very good).Īnd I think you can't learn every spell, not only because they need certain mage skills and mana crystals to learn and they're also finite, but - correct me if I'm wrong - the spellbook's capacity is also limited. What I know is that there's no respawn (which is awesome, hate respawn) but it also means that xp and gold are limited. and since the game's part of steam's weeklong deals anyway, others might benefit from this thread also (tried searching for similar topics here without luck, though I'm planning to skim the steam forums for any useful advice and there's gamefaqs and the before I play wiki). Since it's a pretty complex game (though very easy to get into), I was wondering if there's anything worth knowing beforehand, what to do, what to avoid, etc.
